You've recently immigrated to Canada with skills, education, and valuable marketing experience, eager to secure a role where you can apply your talents. However, finding the right marketing position can be challenging. What sets apart the Canadian marketing industry? How do you expand your professional connections? A mentor can provide answers to these questions and beyond. By connecting you with a mentor who understands your professional background and possesses insights into Canada's marketing industry, you can gain valuable guidance to kickstart your career journey in Canada effectively.
Program Qualifications:
• You have a minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience
• You have lived in Canada for less than five years
• Available in-person and online
• You can dedicate a total of 12 hours over 6 months (approximately 30 minutes each week or 2 hours per month) for mentorship
A mentor can help you:
• Enhance your personal development
• Understand Canadian industry trends
• Increase confidence and self awareness
• Develop effective job search and interview strategies
• Build your local professional network
• Create strong job and project on-boarding strategies
• Coach you on effective communications, cultural norms and etiquettes
